2013 setzte Weekend Phantom mit „Dot.“ ein Ausrufezeichen in der Schweizer Indie-Rock-Szene. Zwei Jahre später zündeten sie mit „Bad Ideas Make Great Stories“ ein Gitarrenriff-Feuerwerk, das von SRF bis MTV in Heavy Rotation lief und Ihre Energie auf Bühnen vom Openair St. Gallen bis Berlin brachte. Ihr neues Album «Blame It On The Weather» stellt für die Band Gruppentherapie dar, und für die Fans Wiedervereinigung. Man kann es drehen und wenden, wie man will, am Ende erinnert die Vertrautheit dieser Musik an lange Nächte in der Bar, schweissgebadetes Mitsingen in der ersten Reihe, und eine bekannte Hand, die dem Alltagsgrau vehement eins auswischt.
