Der in Berlin lebende elektroakustische Komponist Hainbach (*1978 in Freiburg im Breisgau) kreiert experimentelle Musik, die sowohl viszeral als auch skurril ist. Mit esoterischen Synthesizern, Testgeräten und Magnetbändern erzeugt er in seinen Live-Sets und seiner aufgenommenen Musik „einen Höllentrip“. Auf seinem YouTube-Kanal, der ein ständig wachsendes Publikum von mehr als 180000 Abonnenten und über 16 Millionen Aufrufen hat, teilt er Techniken für experimentelle Musik mit, wobei mehrere Videos viral gehen. Sein Werk umfasst Film-Soundtracks, Pop-Produktionen, Kammermusik, Theatermusik, Klangkunstinstallationen und Musiksoftware. Hainbachs Musik wurde bereits in Pitchfork, The Wire, Bandcamp Daily, Bleep und Boomkat vorgestellt.
