"Alien-Deathcore" ist natürlich ein catchy Label, das sich hervorragend durch sämtliche Promotionserzeugnisse streuen lässt. Wirklich gerecht wird es der Musik von Rings of Saturn indes nicht (mehr). Über das kosmische Oberthema in den Texten, die tiefer gelegten Gitarren und die in schöner Regelmässigkeit eingeflochtenen Breakdown-Parts hinaus passiert dafür einfach viel zu viel. Das verbindende Element ist selbstverständlich das schwindelerregend hohe Niveau, auf dem sich Rings of Saturn durch Deathcore, technische, progressive und bisweilen melodische Death-Metal-Spielarten zocken! Das wird auch auf ihrem neuen Album "Gidim" praktiziert, jedoch eingängiger als auch schon. Unbedingt reinhören! Als perfekte Abrundung sind Enterprise Earth, Traitors, Brand of Sacrifice bestätigt. Das perfekte Deathcore Line-Up, nicht verpassen!
