Die dringendsten Fragen haben Northlane bereits 2015 auf „Node“ geklärt – nämlich wie der Sängerwechsel ausgegangen ist. Gut, wie wir heute wissen. Die Trademarks der Band sind immer noch Djent, Core, progressiver Metal und eine gewisse poppige Eingängigkeit. Eine Mixtur, welche die Band in ein homogenes Gesamtbild transportiert, und mit der sie sich einen hervorragenden Ruf erspielt hat.
